Airbus Industrie began as a
consortium of European aviation firms in 1967 when British, French and
German governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the
first Airbus airliner the Airbus A300. Today Airbus and Boeing dominate
the Worlds airliner production.
The Airbus A310 is a twin
engined, twin aisle airliner modified from the original A300 Airbus design
and seating 200 to 280 passengers, it first flew on the 3rd April 1982.
