Airbus Industrie began as a
consortium of European aviation firms in 1967 when British, French and
German governments signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the
first Airbus airliner the Airbus A300. Today Airbus and Boeing dominate
the Worlds airliner production. The
Airbus A330 airliner is a twin engined, twin aisle airliner with seating
capacity for 220 passengers, the A330 first flew on the 2nd November
1992.

Egypt Air was formed in 1932
as Misr Airwork, it taken over by the Egyptian government during WW2 and
re-named Misr Air in 1949, during 1961 it merged with Syrian Airways to
form United Arab Airlines, in 1971 it was re-named to Egypt Air and is
now the national airline of Egypt. Egypt Air's fleet consist of both
Airbus and Boeing passenger airliners.
