Washington by William E. Boeing on 15th of July 1916, as “Pacific Aero
Products Co.” and was re-named the “Boeing Airplane Company” on the 9th of
May 1917. Today Boeing has become the World's largest aircraft manufacturer with only Airbus as significant or major competitor.
The Boeing 737-900 series
airliners have evolved from the original 1967 737 design and are powered
by twin CFM56-7 turbofan engines, it is the longest of the current 737
series of airliners, first entering service in the year 2000.
