about the Fokker 50
Fokker was started by the
Dutchman Anthony Fokker in 1912, by the late 1920's Fokker was
the largest aircraft manufacture in the world. The Fokker 50 airliner was
designed in 1983 as a replacement for the exsisting Fokker F27 Friendship
and first entered passenger service in 1987, it remained in production until 1996
when the Fokker Aircraft Company unfortunately went into liquidation.
The Fokker 50 can carry up-to fifty passengers for 2000 km at a speed of
530 km/h.

operated it's first flight in May 1920 and was for many years the
national airline of the Netherlands, KLM merged with Air France in early
May 2004 and become a subsidiary of the new airline Air France-KLM.
