Airbus Industrie is a
consortium of European aviation firms formed in 1967 following the
British, French and German governments signimg a Memorandum of Understanding to develop
the first Airbus airliner, the Airbus A300, today Airbus and Boeing
dominate the Worlds airliner production. The Airbus A330 airliner is a
twin engined, twin aisle airliner with seating capacity for 220
passengers, the A330 first flew on the 2nd November 1992.

in February 1961 and is the largest of the Brazilian airlines and
operates international services with a mixed fleet of Airbus, McDonnell
Douglas and Fokker airliners although they have expressed their
intention to retire their aging Fokker aircraft in favour of more Airbus
airliners.
